What is the dress code? And is there a theme or color for your wedding?
We want you to be comfortable, so we aren’t picky—but we recommend a semi-formal dress code. Our wedding color scheme is inspired by wildflowers, with our bridesmaids wearing spring colors like green, blue, pink, purple, and yellow. Guests are welcome to join us by wearing pastels or floral patterns. We’re aiming for a light, cheerful spring atmosphere, but please wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable!

Is there a hotel block?
Yes! While our venue is in a rural area with limited nearby hotels, we’ve reserved a room block at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, just 6 minutes from the reception. For details, visit our Room Block tab. When booking, please mention our reservation name (Zink-Gennuso) or number (46430) to receive a 10% discount. Shaker Village is our top recommendation—it’s the closest lodging to the venue, beautifully set among Kentucky farmland, and offers plenty to explore and enjoy during your stay!
